Flat Feet

The arch is best known as the shock absorber of the foot. Walking, running and jogging creates force of up to 5 times the body weight. When we have pain in our arch, it is usually a warning sign of fallen arches or flat feet. This condition can lead to knee, hip and lower back pain.. Our feet were never designed for standing or walking on the hard surfaces of todays world and when you also consider the natural aging process, it is no wonder that most of us have some form of fallen arches leading to painful flat feet.

As fallen arches get worse, one can start to see the formation of crooked toes and bunions, corns and callouses, arthritis and the symptom of burning and numbness. Orthotics can help restore proper foot function and slow down or eliminate the painful progression of the above listed deformities.
